Please help get him and Cancer Research UK into the top 100 by searching “The Relay for Life Song” and downloading it, available on all major download platforms (ITunes, Spotify, Amazon Music etc) links below.
We have until midnight on Thursday 25th March to get 6000 downloads so please, please help if you can.
We’re excited to share that Luke Middleton, from Relay For Life Liskeard, has released a Relay song in aid of Cancer Research UK. We think it’s very catchy and reminds us of our favourite Relay moments.
“I originally wrote this song for our local Relay team and was pleasantly surprised when it was recognised throughout the UK. I’m now very proud that it’s reached out to other Relayers and hope that it continues to raise much needed funds for our worthy cause.”
Luke has been part of Relay For Life Liskeard for over 10 years and wrote the song as he was inspired by his local Relay team, his personal experiences and having the support of his family. You may also remember it being played at our Relay Live event last summer. It’s so catchy I can’t get it out of my head and I think you’ll agree that it’s really special and captures the magic of Relay.
In order for Luke’s song to get into the UK Top 100, he needs 6,000 sales from Friday 19 March to midnight on Thursday 25 March, and I for one know that he can do it.
How can you support this?
- Spread the word: We need to get our Relay community rallying around this, so we’d love for you to share the message with your teams and community as much as possible! I’ve attached some social posts to this email to help you do this.
- Purchase the song: You can download the song on all major digital music platforms, if you and your community are happy to you can purchase this song for less than £1 and keep it forever.
- Stream the song: You can stream the song for free (playing an online version of the song from any major music streaming site) which then counts as a small percentage of a sale. Even if you buy the song (1 sale), by then streaming it on a different platform you could really drive additional sales. Every single listen raises a vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
